On our last leg of the trip we went from Zagreb back to Budapest. The Budapest derby between Ferencvaros and Ujpest was certainly the highlight in terms of football for the whole trip. We bought VIP tickets for the main stand as this was the only secure choice without waiting to buy a supporters card plus a „normal“ ticket at the ground. And it was a good choice as the match was sold out before we started our trip.
It turned out that a VIP ticket offered an all-inclusive catering with main stand tickets next to the Ferencvaros ultras section.
Throughout the match there was a very lively atmosphere from both sets of fans with songs, pyro and choreo.
Ferencvaros turned the game onto their favour to win the Hungarian championship again – a great end to our trip.
