We arrived in Swansea early afternoon and stayed at the Grand Central opposite from the station. Walked around some bit in town, I can recommend the Copr bar in the centre and BeerRiff Brewing at the Marina.
Swansea City’s stadium is modern with a sometimes typical modern (no) atmosphere – despite a lot of goals it was boring, expected much more – remember watching United‘s away match in the Premier League days here on TV and that sounded like a hostile away atmosphere, but nothing near nowadays.
After the match we walked back into town and were surprised about the party atmosphere – student night on a Wednesday.
