The last match of our Iceland trip was not only the first top flight kick, but also the best one in terms of support and quality on the pitch. Valur currently top of the league dominated most of the game. However, Keflavik equalised and kept the game close till the end. Valur‘s goalkeeper is still the Iceland national team legend Halldórsson, who had some famous moments during the Euros 2016 (won against England) and World Cup 2018 (saved Messi’s penalty).
And outside the ground, the club‘s bar was even open with some nice memorables from the club’s history.
