What a game on a rainy, frustrating but great night in Manchester. My first game at Old Trafford since the Manchester derby in March 2020. And I met Rick and Tom again.
The Tollgate pub has a nice new singing area in the garden, similar but bigger than the one from Sam Platts Pub (long live) – we had a great pre-match there and it’s much cheaper than the Hotel Football (3,50£ vs 5£ per pint), where I had to go after the match.
We got De Gea and Ronaldo to make it also a successful evening on the pitch, but the overall performance was very bad again.
Will be back in the UK in two weeks time. Now finally flying back from London to Berlin
