It took 1,5 hours from Marianske Lazne in Czech to Bayreuth by car. We quickly checked into our hotel near the train station and walked then to the ground. What a nice ground, which was on my list since a while. During my first visit to the city of Bayreuth, I missed the game due to bad weather and preferred straight away the local Maisel‘s brewery and it’s nice restaurant Liebesbier.
The home team could have moved top of the table with a win against Pipinsried. But they had not a good day at the office and the away side celebrated a deserved victory.
